Perhaps quite fittingly, the weather during AW15 Fashion Month was changeable at best. This did little to inhibit the die-hard street-stylers of New York, London, Paris and Milan though, who either resorted to layers, or laughed defiantly in the face of pneumonia with a bare legged and open-toed rebellion.
Their sartorial choices were, as always, flamboyant, artful and undeniably chic. As it is sometimes said of Fashion Week; the real show happens off the catwalks.

This season’s bags are mini marvels, with a variety of shapes to suit all tastes. The half-sized hero from Deichmann (below) has plenty of space for essentials, and can even be paired with a similar across-body style for double the fun.
The Subtle Statement-Makers
For the slightly less showy but still chic, the accessories were in one of two camps: either muted or neutral tones with stand out twists like multiple straps, cut-out details, chunky heels or metallic hardware, or simple, classic styles in colour-pop tones for plenty of pizzaz.
The Daytime Clutch
This trend almost goes without saying when it comes to Fashion Month. The evening clutch’s counterpart is suitable for daywear, and oversized for practicality in Street Style World. Keep it interesting with a splash of colour or bold prints, whilst the more minimal styles can also be updated with a statement wristlet or bag charm.
